Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from a regular neurology appointment?

In this Virtual Expert Opinion session, you’ll get direct, personalized clarity from a Yale-educated, Penn-trained, board-certified neurologist with 17 years’ experience. The focus is on understanding your symptoms and giving you a clear next step, not adding another layer of uncertainty.

Who is this best suited for?

Adults who feel lost in the system, are navigating multiple opinions, or want clarity before taking their next step. If you’ve been told “everything looks fine” but you still don’t feel fine, this session is designed for you.

Do you take insurance?

No. This is a private-pay service designed to offer direct, unbiased clarity without the delays and restrictions of insurance networks. Payment is made at booking to secure your session. If you have PPO insurance, we are happy to provide an invoice following your visit, with which you may seek reimbursement from your health plan.

Do I need a referral to schedule?

No referral is required.

What if my situation is very complex?

Complex cases are my specialty. Seventeen years of clinical experience means I’ve seen a wide range of neurological presentations. While I can’t guarantee every answer in one session, I can guarantee you’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction.

What if I need follow-up?

Most patients find one session is enough to move forward. If follow-up is needed, you may book another Expert Opinion session — but the goal is always for you to walk away with actionable clarity after one.

What will I walk away with?

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what your symptoms mean, what questions still matter, and a practical next step for moving forward. Many patients tell me they gain more clarity in one session than in years of visits elsewhere.

Will you prescribe medication or order tests?

No. This service is not a replacement for your treating physician. I do not prescribe or order tests. My role is to provide an independent expert opinion that helps you better understand your symptoms and options so you can advocate for yourself with confidence.
